I time traveled back to August so I could catch a giant snakehead, but I'm having trouble. There are no big fish in my river ponds, just really tiny ones. How long did it take you to catch one?

Just keep playing, you'll see it eventually :)
Also, keep walking back and forth on the riverbank. It's boring and tedious, but it can be worth it *pumps fist*

I wasn't looking for it when I had found it; I was walking by the river and seen a large shadow, so of course I catch it; Their it is, you should find it eventually, with normal playtime.

Yaaay! My greatest recent catch was an arapaima!

I'm still looking forward to finally catching a scorpion though...

I just saw a shadow in the water and caught a giant snakehead! I was surprised because I wasn't really looking for it.

took me a while to catch a stringfish as well. i messed up on the first try though. i was too nervous and pressed A on the first bite and it ran away -.-
