Ghost discussion thread

I believe in ghosts, there are enough stories out there to convince me. I've had a few encounters, but nothing really scary.

when i was 13 me and my friends were REALLY into stuff like that (we still are, but not as much) The only REALLY ghostly experience I've ever had was at a party. we taped a. . . saonce?(idk how to spell it) and mid taping, one of the girls didn't want to hold the camera anymore. so she passed it off to another girl. later, we looked at the tape. there's maybe 5 frames when they were passing it off that the camera passed over this old rocking chair. on the tape, when it passed over the chair, we could CLEARLY see the shadow of a human sitting down on the chair.

Sorry but i have no clue what an Oijula board is. (I can already tell that it's bad....)

it's basically "an innocent gameboard" (but you still won't see people messing with them) with the entire alphabet, "yes" and "no" at the top, 0-9 with numbers, and "goodbye" at the bottom. you have a tiny triangle piece chip that usually has a circle in the middle of it.

to "play" with one, you have to have 2+ people (i think) and all of the people involved put 2 fingers on the corners, or around the edge if there are more than 3 people. you take turns asking questions, and the triangle piece will move by itself and give you answers.

they're usually known as like the gateway to hell or something similar...

EEEK! That's Really Freaky.

^ those things scare meh to death, muh friend brought one to a party..
And it was soo freaking scarey!
I went to turn on the lights and the power was out..

Lets just say im not friends with her anymore.. -__-

I saw this episode of A Haunting where 2 people were playing with an Ouija board and the table started shaking. So the guy went out in the back of the house and BURNED it. After that demons were possessing the woman's daughter who didn't have a fully functional brain, so she couldn't fight it off even if she tried. at the end of the ep, the demon was exercised, but there was still a portal in their back yard so they moved. NEVER ever burn an Ouija board.

i know. :/ as a christian, i try not to be really too curious about it... because the bible speaks clearly that you're not to have any desire to even know about it, but it does make me wonder... although i think i'd be even more messed up than the poor guy that did see it. i think my brother once brought up how they used to go camping in the woods to this guy a few years ago to maybe spark a conversation about it, but the guy just gave him a look. so i guess he really meant what he said about never bringing it up again... bummer. it's been like 20+ years, lol.

and it's kind of hard to find ouija boards... i remember i found some in spencer's in the mall if anyone else has spencer's. the thing about ouija boards is it's not the actual "game board" that will get you these kind of experiences - if you went out of your way to make one yourself (just some letters, yes, no, goodbye, 0-9 on a piece of paper) and really wanted to see something, you'd get it. you just have to have 2+ people to be able to do it, and something that you both can touch with a circle in the middle.

Meh Hell doesn't seem to bad, I mean you can't die again, plus i'd overthrow Satan and turn Hell into a frozen wasteland before they got a chance to punish me. ANYWAYS BACK ON TOPIC TO GHOSTS.

as we're on earth, we're in this body that is designed to sin. we have lust that at times it feels we can't control. it's a temptation, and us not giving in is a good thing. in heaven, we won't be wearing chastity belts... we will have no desire for that kind of thing, because we will be standing in front of the creator - the most awesome, pure, holy being... we're going to be in AWE and not able to think anything except how perfect and beautiful this place is. it's so beautiful, that if we were exposed to it in our bodies right now, we would die. it's beyond comprehension... i think i'd want to be in a state of absolute perfectness than suffering because i miss sex... and just so you know, it WILL be like wearing a chastity belt in hell, lol.

I'm agnostic, so I don't really care about the religious aspect but I've seen ghosts in my room. 0_0 I thought it was my mom checking on me but then I noticed that he/she/it was kind of glowing... and then they walked straight through my closet. ._.

Also once I saw some weird thing hang onto the side of my tub during a blackout when I was home alone. That was scary. I bolted out of there, obviously.

A lady died here, apparently. I think I heard later that she had a heart attack in my bathroom. Also, when you're either the last one up/ home alone you can hear footsteps upstairs. Even my mom heard them when both me and my dad were out. >_>
