I'm just wondering what sort of thing you do to get your town ready for halloween? I've seen some really cool idea from people making a second character to have a costume shop to people using patterns to have their own pumpkin patch!

I'm finally getting around to forcing Fuchsia to suggest the Uchi Public Works Projects, which includes the scarecrow. I also need either Cobb or Drift to suggest the Fire Pit. Once I have all of the Uchi PWPs, I plan to find Whitney in the trade forums and bring her into town to have a wolf villager.
My town flag is a jack-o'-lantern all year, partly because it's a horror town and partly because I can't draw and just found a QR code. I already have the masks and pumpkin heads in storage, so that's covered too.
I had planned to sabotage my town rating so that a rafflesia would grow, but you have to have less than 3 PWPs and a low amount of trees. I wish it had the mechanics from the older games where it was dependent on cleanliness. Alas.
