Getting DIYs from villagers?

How do I make my villagers make me more DIYs? Will it help if I save and quit, then reload the game and check all the houses, and then do it again and again? Or is it just one a day or..?

I usually get it from them randomly twice a day. Usually one in the morning, then one in the evening. Even if you restart the game, sometimes the same villager is still crafting the same thing. Time has to pass, and by that, I mean hours.

most days i get 2, some days i get more! i got four recipes today. i find that it's linked to the time of day - there is a new recipe every time that the villagers switch places (some inside, some outside).

They tend to switch out based on the time of day, so I say just keep checking everyone who's inside every so often, and if you notice one of your villagers was outside but went inside, go check

The easiest to me is checking in the morning, afternoon and evening. There’s probably more instances throughout the day, but I tend to see new villagers crafting when I quickly pop in at those time of day.

There's actually specific times when they are crafting at home. Most of the time you can find them crafting at 10 in the morning, 6 in the evening and 1 in the morning. Just watch for the smoke coming out of their chimney or if the lights are still on at night
