Getting bored

I am getting bored of animal crossing. It is a good game, but I have been so fixated in Fire Emblem Fates that I don't play it as much as I did. What do you guys suggest?

A break is most likely the best thing to do. I was getting bored back in June, so I took a break until now. I feel freshened up now. so, I'd suggest the same for you!

Yes, take a short break. Just make a note of the date you last played so you don't lose any villagers you want to keep. I was getting bored of it a few months back and took a month off, it worked out well as I found I started to miss it and miss my villagers. When I went back to it they were all there waiting for me
I also play other games in between animal crossing, and I don't have the patience when I do play to wait days to get things done so I pretty much always tt and get a few in games days done in one session. Just keeps it interesting for me/
Have you completed your museum yet? I found that a good thing for me to focus on. And again you can tt safely to the months you may have missed if you wanted to.

Yep I agree I got the game as soon as it released in Europe (around July 2013) and I stopped playing around March 2014 and I started playing again in December last year!

i find that its best to take breaks between and play other games and come back to acnl. once you're burnt out you need some space before you come back.
