So I finally am succumbing to buying a second game cartridge so I can run two towns. I've wanted to do a sci-fi/space punk/technological/futuristic theme for a village for a while now, but never wanted to reset my original town. I do have a few questions, though.

1) When does the spring season start? A friend of mine is looking for a diving creature she still needs, and it only comes out in the spring and summer, so I pretty much want to start the game and have like a full six months for her to try and get it.

2) I know there's Ribbot, Kid Cat, Agent S (already obtained in another game, so I'm going to wait and hope that she doesn't move out before I get another 3DS), and Julian that I want to obtain for my village, but does anyone have any other ideas for villagers who could fit into the theme I'm going for?

3) Does anyone know of any path codes that fit into the theme I'm going for? I want to start laying paths pretty much as soon as I get the QR reader.

I'll try to keep an eye out for path codes for you.

When I think about sci-fi villagers other than the ones you've mentioned, Cobb is the first one that comes to mind. I know he's also a Jock like Ribbot, but I have this mental image of the two of them hanging out? Cobb is like a mad scientist (look at his house) and Ribbot is a robot so it's perfect. I'd love to see him in more sci-fi towns because he's a less predictable choice.

Ruby (Peppy) is a moon rabbit, if that would fit your theme. Rocket (Uchi) and Big Top (Lazy) remind me of Agent S and Kid Cat with their helmets and outfits.

There are some others that come to mind, but they're probably more debatable. Some other lazies that could go in your town are Doc or Derwin as sci-fi fans. Astrid (Snooty) has stars and her house looks kind of futuristic. Static (Cranky) has always seemed like he could fit a sci-fi town.
