Game glitch that's scaring me!!!

So I heard that once someone moves in, it takes 4-5 days before someone can move out! however, Canberra pinged me just now asking whether she should move, despite having Pekoe move in yesterday! Is this a glitch?! please, someone reassure me! this has happened twice.

also, I have 10 villagers, Pekoe was my 10th? idk if this helps?

i don't think it's a glitch, I just think the whole 4-5 days thing isn't true. I don't know that for a fact though, so I can't say that for sure. but I've had the same thing happen to me countless times, so I'm just super cautious and always check for pings every day just to be safe. :<​

idk if that has ever happened to me, but I don't think it's a glitch. it's probably just a coincidence :,) that's why I play every day though, I don't wanna miss a ping

A villager can ping the very next day, but it's 5 days from the first day a villager can ping you before that villager will actually move out.

Someone else could ping the very next day, although it usually doesn't happen. It's usually 3-4 days between pings, but you can have pings two days in a row or over a week apart.

If you had 10 and one moved out, you're still technically in the move out phase with 9, so you can still lose another villager 8 is the one you can't go below, and are in the move in phase.

Villager Pings to move are usually completely random, this 4 days fact isn't true as my Mira decided to move the day after she moved in
