We've been going over this for quite some time in Career Ed in my class, and I'd like everyone to talk about, well, simply put, what they want to be when they grow up.

I'd like to be an engineer, civil, perhaps, because I like science and math. Designing and improvising have also always been enjoyable to me.

Hm, I want to do something creative, probably movie editing/media. That's where my passion lies really.

That's what interests me, too. Being creative. I could probably get a few good offers for graphic designing if I looked around. Movie editing sounds really interesting, too.

I'm goin to a school of business next year, not totally sure whatI'll major in. Maybe marketing, actuarial science, business management, iono...

I'll be going to university in a little over a year and a half and I'll be there for about 10+ years, and then I'll be a gastroenterologist

:)

Well, I just got accepted into a film academy. So I'm going for anything in the movie, broadcasting, or communications area. =D

Congratulations! Which one?

I know I've congratulated you before, Gengar, but congrats again! That essay was quite good

:P

In any case... I'm still set on game designer. I was always serious about it... some people thought I was kidding around, but I wasn't.

Film academy Gengar? I thought you were like 15!

He is, actually. It's not like they don't accept prodigies and the like... heck, he may be doing a PSEO-like program. I haven't even asked... silly me. XD

That's awesome!

I've taken some important steps to my career choice, video game developer.

I'm taking a video game development class in high school right now. I'm going to take AP programing in the summer and AP programming 2 next year.

George Mason, which is 30 minutes from my house, has a good program so I'm looking to go there pretty much.

anything along the lines of technology, most likely video games. I seem to be a quick learner on anything that has to do with electronics, so I think it would fit me.

If you mean stay there then yah. Half the reason for going to college is for the experience you get there.

Commute as in drive there

And I disagree

I'd rather save money than have some nonexistent "experience"
