Funny Question

You know when someone comes over to your town, and I think if they talk to your villagers more than twice? or once, the villagers start mentioning that player every now and then. Is there a way to make them stop or not? Because I was let someone come over for signatures once and I guess they got excited because I had a few of their dreamies and all ... but I didn't realize they were talking to them more then twice so now this player keeps getting mentioned and they're not even on my friends list anymore.

It's not thaaaat big of a problem but you know, it's just weird @_@

My villagers always talk about being visited "recently" by 'Lydia from Penio', who I'm pretty came over for signatures of something last summer. I don't even know who she is anymore I wish they'd shut up though, honestly xD

I think it's sweet that they remember,but I can see it being annoying if you don't care for the person they are talking about (although I personally like it)

There's no real way to stop it, unfortunately.

I do think it's sweet, but I wish they'd forget eventually if that person no longer talks to them. I still have my villagers talking about people who came over last year. It's also weird because they say things like, "Oh, I just met so-and-so!" Yes, by "just met," you mean "eight months ago," sure.

I personally like when my villagers gossip about other mayors lol even when I don't remember who they're talking about...
idk it's amusing hearing rumors about other people I guess haha

but yea unfortunately I don't think there's a way to stop it;;
