Funniest Video Game Deaths

What are the ones that made you chuckle, laugh a little bit? Basically the ones where you made a mistake and bit it?

For me one stands out... I remember playing as Fire Mario in a Mario game and I slid off of a cliff when I jumped too far XD.

I dug straight down in a Minecraft temple while looking for treasure chests, and heard a click, then a hiss, looked up at my friend on the server, and then blew up... the entire bottom of the temple was destroyed...
It was like a scene from a cartoon. A really sad scene where I lost so much treasure...
Hilarious in hindsight though. My facial expression was frozen in "Why did I DO THAT" mode.

Heh. Reminds me of when I first started playing Minecraft, my friend told me to never dig down. I asked why and right as I did I fell into a lake of lava. He laughed and said that's why.

Shaggy Long Legs stomps on one of my pikmin holding a bomb rock causing it to explode and other bomb rock holding pikmin's bomb rocks to explode. The result of this is a powerful explosion killing about 90 of my pikmin at once.

When I was playing Mass Effect 1, during the mission to rescue Liara, I got killed by the Krogan Battlemaster during the elevator fight, and I fell through the elevator floor. It was really funny to watch Commander Shepard's *****y corpse fall into an abyss of nothingness.

In Dragon Quest IX, I was playing against an enemy much higher than my level, so my first attacks barely did anything, but it attacked and my whole party was killed at once. LOL.

Star Wars BattleFront the second. I was walking around one of the maps (can't remember which), and was winning. Being headstrong, a friend ran through a door, which shut behind him. Approximately three seconds later, the door opens, followed by his body flying back out of the door.

Oh, and in Pok?mon: Trolling people with level 1 Cottonee, ability Prankster. That's so fun!
Edit: But, it takes forever.

The other day I was playing GTA V and driving around as Michael... stopped the car to get out and just opened the door, flopped down onto the pavement, and died. I just about fell out of my chair I was laughing so hard.

I was trying to ace the last level of The Canyons in LittleBigPlanet, I was doing pretty well, but right as the boss blew up, his charred leg flew at my Sackboy and burned the poor guy.

I don't remember if I was angry or amused.

If you were like me, it was probably a mixture of bot with anger in the lead. Especially when it came to acing the Bunker.

In Super Mario 3D Land, I was playing and playing until I got into the basement of Bowser's castle and then (this isn't exactly my death but it is a funny death) I pushed a button and bowser's... um.. how do I put this part got burned! And she flew up into the air and sank in the lava.

I used to play Black Hawk Down (sorry, not Desert Storm) a lot with my little brother and we would take turns blowing each other into the air with claymores. I would set one down, run away, and watch his screen when he would step on it and instantly be thrown off the map and land on a building or something. The ragdoll was hilarious.

In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, I was on the final boss. (Won't say who it is if you're playing the game really late and don't want to be spoiled.) I had 1 HP and I was going to heal, but then some $%&*@ in the audience threw a can at me and I died. That death is the only one that stands out to me.

And in Fire Emblem, all of the times I die because an enemy has Counter. I hate it.

Playing Slender in the dark and then turning around in the bathroom seeing he was there I guessed my game glitched or something.So I went over there and was all like "What's up bro?" and then it unglitched and scared the crap out of me.Then I turned around and I thought Jeff the Killer was behind me cause of the poster on my wall with all the Creepypastas so now I have a hole in my wall.

My brother, aged nine, started singing "We're Gonna Die Young," by Anja, while he was challenging the Elite Four.
It was pretty hilarious, if I say so myself, because all his level 39-45 Pok?mon died pretty easily.

Crackdown 2 for me all the time. I remember fighting one boss with my friend and I picked up a truck and threw it at the boss, it just so happened to coincide with my mate jumping at the boss and taking the full hit of the truck and flying off into the sea haha
