So lots of people are having trouble getting the trees to grow. A grid of saplings with one space in between doesn't work. I researched it and they have to be 2 apart. Also doesn't work. And before you ask, no, they aren't by cliffs or ledges. If anyone knows the fix or also has this problem please add what you know to the discussion. Let's figure this out!

I believe they simply dont like to grow in too large of a clustered group, try going them waaay farther apart and then using a food item and a shovel to relocate them after they're done growing. A bit annoying but it works :O

they need a 3x3 space to grow, but they can have one space between without a problem.

You might simply have too many trees on one acre for them to grow.

You'd be better off letting them grow apart and then when they're fully grown, move them back together

Everyone always says to grow them far apart then put in one apart spaces but how far is far apart?? 3 away? 4? I still need to grow a large amount :/

You can only grow a certain amount of trees in a certain area. Move the trees to another area, let them grow, and then move them back. I had the same issue when planting my orchard and this method worked!

Yea trees are abit wierd after there fully grown eat some fruit then they can be really close to each other but not while there growing I dunno why there designed like this

How many is the max for one square of the grid?
