I want to do something with the area in front of my mayor's house, but I'm stumped for ideas. A PWP would definitely brighten things up, but any idea what should I put down?
Some players put a street light on each side so a villager doesn't move in. Dreamt a town that used the torch and it looked nice.
Another poster put the fountain in front of their house to keep the villagers away.
My houses are near the cliff so I don't have to worry about villagers putting their house in front of mine.
I can't landscape my mayor's front yard because she's right next to the cliff, but to the side of it, I have a fountain surrounded with pink lilies and 4 wisteria trellises. I really like how all of it looks :3
My house is on a small peninsula near my hybrid beach. The land allows for pwp placement in front and to the right to keep villagers away. Part of the problem is actually getting the pwps. The diving trick is so slow, and if I do get something, it's a yield sign. XP
This is what I did! You can barely see the little points, but my castle is behind me.
I would recommend using arches since you have a one tile wide path. Make everything as symmetrical as possible. You could have fountains or illuminated PWPs on either side depending on your theme.
What kind of PWP's have you unlocked so far? I put a stone tablet in front of mine as I wanted to go for like a Zelda themed house.
Maybe a wisteria trellis or flower arch as part of a walkway up to your house?
My house is in front of the river, so I didn't have room to place a PWP there. I put a flower bed to the side, though. You could plant some gold roses around the fence; that would look pretty.
Wow! Your front lawns are all so nice! I unfortunately didn't put any pwp in front of my home and Muffy moved in (one of my first five villagers) and since I happened to like her, I left her there. I also didn't know about plot resetting so yeah lol. I left my home surrounded by flowers and a flower bed in the back, which I don't use for flowers but ores lol.
