Found a Snowflake

So I went for a stroll in my town and saw this thing...



When I moved close to it, it began to float away quickly. So on a whim I decided to try and catch it...



So... Whats up with this thing?

Theres a very distinct audiable sound when one is close by... Unfortunately they cant be stored anywhere either... Darn.

I don't really know the answer to that, but I'm going to go ahead and say; Go ahead and try to display it.
Because you can sell them to retail, for sure.
And you're gonna see a lot of these things in Dec, I think they have the same timing as balloons, which float over your town every 10mins.

You have to give them to the snowmam(something like that) Also I think you can't sell them? I think you have to choose the let go option.

If she asks for 5 snowflakes= You did not make a perfect snowmam

If she asks for 3 snowflakes= You made the snowmam perfectly

A snowflake's Re-tail value should be 500 bells.
Good to know that even if you fail she still accept flakes.

Sorry to hijack the thread , but any idea why is the snow gone?

It snow in my town on the 30th , but never appear again for past 2 days.

Will it be back?

snow appears randomly from november - december (it's just like rain except snow so it's completely random).
Once it's like December 10th I think, then your town is covered in snow, and you'll get snow falling more often~

Snowmam will request 3 if she's perfect and 5 if not. She lasts for a few days. Best to get the tyke done first.

And you can catch snowflakes even if it is not snowing and the sun is out. They are to be found every single day.
