Do you enjoy watching foreign language movies? I've been a cinephile for such a long time, and I have a grand interest in movies. I don't really care where they're from, I just care that they're good movies, at least. So, what are some of the best foreign language movies you've seen? Here are some foreign language movies I enjoyed:

Germany:

I have an all time favorite foreign film:
Pan's Labyrinth

But I watch a bunch of random foreign films, most of 'em Greek :)
 
I love foreign films. I don't know exactly where these are made but here is a list of movies with different language I enjoy:

-Fantastic Planet

That's all I can think of off the top of my head but I am sure there are more!

I love watching foreign films! Here are some that I really enjoy

Japanese:
- Any and all Studio Ghibli films
- Any and all Makoto Shinkai films
- Koizora
- My Rainy Days

Chinese:
- Sophie's Revenge

Korean:
- Always
- My Sassy Girlfriend
- 200 Pounds of Beauty
- Cyrano Love Agency
 
Other than English language movies, I've watched Chinese movies (in Cantonese and Mandarin) regularly since I was little. I remember all the kungfu ones with David Chiang, Ti Lung and Fu Sheng. Also, the old Chinese horror movies from the 70s completely freaked me out when I was a kid, especially the ones that deal with female ghosts that liked to remove their heads, place them on the dressing table, and then comb their hair ever so slowly. Horror movies dealing with black magic were plentiful as well, with women giving birth to snakes and demon children and such.

When I got older, I enjoyed movies from Hongkong. (Also, the TV drama serials of the 80s from Hongkong. I was such a fan!) Titles like A Better Tomorrow, To Catch A Thief and A Chinese Ghost Story were great, I loved watching actors such as Leslie Cheung, Cherie Chung, Chow Yun Fatt.

Among the most memorable foreign language movies I've watched are Infernal Affairs (Hongkong), Shutter (Thai), Departures (Japan), Let the Bullets Fly (China), Let the Right One In (Sweden), The Man from Nowhere (South Korea).
 
Some German films I enjoyed are:
Keinohrhasen (Rabbit Without Ears)
Die Welle (The Wave)
Der Schuh des Manitu (Manitou's Shoe)
Sommersturm (Summerstorm)
Lola rennt (Run Lola Run)
Der Turm

There is also a film version of a book called Destined to Witness in English. It's definitely not an easy film to watch, but it's very well-made, and the story is interesting.
 
As im from mexico, i can't list amores perros or pan's labyrinth... but still, i like "the way home" from south korea

I've watched some German movies and anime movies

@Secondsider I'm noticing a lack of Norwegian movies on your list, try: Troll Hunter. It was pretty decent.
 
I'm gonna see the Oggy and the Cockroaches movie when i go to France!
