I don't wanna use an amiibo but I've been TTing for several hours and literally everyone on my Island has asked several times to move but for some reason Whitney won't ask as single time. The flower cleanup is gonna take me hours and my mailbox is full ugh.. I'm kinda venting here but what the heck, how is it possible. I tried befriending her and pushing her around, etc.. I know that doesn't help but I'm losing my mind is she glitched or what lol

was she your last move-in? if so you can only boot her out with amiibo or campsite
if not though, i had the same problem a while ago until i denied another villager to reset the cycle, and then the bubble was over the one i wanted out pretty shortly after

Is she your most recent villager? Some people have experienced the most recent villager asking to move out but for the vast majority and with datamined info, the most recent villager supposedly won't ask to move out unless you force them out with amiibo
NO WAY ;; she is, I invited her to my island for a friend. I wish I came here first instead of wasting 6 hours on this aaa. But if I use an amiibo, won't they be stuck on my Island as well? Or will using one break the curse?? I was hoping to go island touring..

Yeah unfortunately you would have to move someone else out then Whitney if you wanted to go island hopping! If you have the amiibo of one of your other villagers then you could amiibo them back in but it's a bit of a hassle for sure

Ahh.. Unfortunately I don't. But if I use an amiibo to kick Whitney, will that new villager be permanent like her until I kick someone that is willing to move or will this fix it and it's only Whitney? I just wanna make sure because unfortunately I have all my other faves I don't wanna let go..

It's not just Whitney. Any villager that's your most recent will not want to move out. So basically if you use an amiibo to force Whitney out, then your amiibo villager now won't ask to move. The only way for you to go island hopping naturally to to kick out another villager that isn't Whitney and then move Whitney out. It's a hassle but it's the only way rn
