For Fun: Create a Hybrid!

Just a thread where you can choose to be a bit creative. Have some fun and create a hybrid that you'd love to have in your town. Even go into more detail with it, if you want!

Here's a few of mine:

1.) Violet pansy:

It would be a much lighter purple pansy, with some white in the center. They would rarely breed by pairing a purple pansy and white pansy.

2.) Purple carnation:

Typical purple in colour. They would breed by pairing two red carnations.

3.) Purple cosmos:

Typical purple in colour, perhaps a little lighter and closer to violet. They would rarely breed by pairing a red and orange cosmos.


Anyways, those are mine. Go nuts! Even 'add' flowers you'd like to see in future games and go from there, if you want!

Blue Lillies:
-still unsure why we don?t already have them? blue lillies would be so beautiful
-grown with two hybrid red lillies, similar to blue roses

Black Pansies:
-with a tiny white patch (or yellow, like a bumblebee flower!!) in the middle. still unsure why we don?t already have these either
-grown with any color combo of hybrid pansies

Pink Pansies:
-another cute hybrid color, bums me out that you can?t grow them. some would have white in the centers, some would maybe have purple? it would depend on how you bred them though that?d be the catch
-grown with a red hybrid pansy, and a white one (if they existed) or a red hybrid pansy and a blue hybrid pansy.

Honestly, blue lilies would be in such hiiiigh demand here, more than blue roses! I've seen blue lilies in real life and HOLY HECK they are gorgeous.

Purple, and Blue Carnations
-Ughhhhh... why do we only have three kinds??? Purple carnations and blue carnations would be lighter than purple roses and blue roses, and would go very well with some areas in my town. Sadly, we’re stuck with dark blue of all blue flowers but hey at least it decreases the chances of my town being a pastel town.

-Yes even though the in-game orange pansy we have is my most favorite of all hybrids due to it’s unique colors(also pansear colors), I still want an actual orange pansy in the game. Just one color of orange is all im asking for.

Red and Orange Violets
-Siiiiiiighhhhhhhh.... We don’t have these???? Red and orange violets would look so good. Just white, yellow, violet, and blue ones give an ugly scheme for my town- Kinda bland. Gimme some pansear colors Nintendo.

An actual Orange pansy

My IRL garden has all three of these flowers. They look so great together!

Black pansies
We have a local farmer that grows black pansies, and they are super cool looking!
Would get them from red+red like other black hybrids 0v0

Lavender roses
Not a real flower, but the shops here dye them that color a lot lol
they'd like come from purple+white roses or something idk

Spotted lilies
Like a tigerlily I guess?
Probably from black+orange or smth like that

Blue Cosmos. Blue Lillies. Blue Carnations, Blue Tulips (although those are in Pocket camp.) Blue makes almost any flower look good!

Also, teal everything!

VIOLETS

Red violets:

Combine two yellow violets to make a yellow violet* hybrid. Then pair it with another yellow violet* hybrid to make a red violet. (I might have made this so confusing lol)

Orange violets:

Combine a red violet and a yellow violet* hybrid to create an orange violet.

Black violets:

Combine a red violet and a purple violet to create a white violet* hybrid. Then, you're gonna need a yellow violet* hybrid. Pair the white* and yellow violet* hybrids together to create a black violet.

LILIES

Blue lilies:

Simple, just use a black lily and an orange lily.

Blue and red lilies:

First, you need a pink lily. Then, you're gonna pair an orange lily and black lily to create a blue lily. After that, pair the blue lily and the pink lily together to make a blue and red lily. The appearance would be that the blue is on the outside while the pink is in the center.

DANDELIONS (Probably never possible but meh, it's just for fun)

White dandelions:

Save up a regular dandelion, same goes for the dandelion puff. Combine those two together to create a white dandelion.

Black dandelions:

Combine the white dandelion with a dandelion puff to create a black dandelion.

Silver dandelions:

You need to combine a white dandelion with a regular dandelion (yellow) to create a white dandelion* hybrid. Then, you're gonna need to pair up that white dandelion* hybrid with a dandelion puff to create a black dandelion. After that, use that black dandelion offspring with the regular dandelion (yellow) to finally create a silver dandelion. You can create more silver dandelions and pair them together to make even more.

Honestly, dandelions should be appreciated more. That's why I made complex steps to creating a hybrid, especially the silver one.

Rainbow Rose/Tulip
I think having some sort of rainbow variant for either flower would be really nice. I would prefer tulips, since multicolored varieties do exist in real life. Sure, rainbow flowers don't exist in real life, but neither do golden flowers. So I don't think they would stand out in a negative way.

Me too! Blue is my favorite color and being able to wear blue cosmos would be amazing since I like how the cosmos look to begin with.

I adore the blue flowers we have in New Leaf but I was gutted when I realised there wasn?t any blue lilies!
Blue cosmos would be a great addition too...actually just blue flowers would be great haha

Oh! We should have golden lilies, like the phrase “to gild the lily.”

Could work just like golden roses, let black lilies wither and water with the golden watering can.

(Silver flowers from the silver watering can would also be cool!)

i'd love light blue and light purple roses, or any other 'light' coloured flowers made with ' white flower x ___ flower ' !!! i think lavender hues would look so pretty in my town... T___T
