Flurry RIGHT NEXT TO RETAIL!

Always thought they move in two days after you ask them to move in, not one >u<
It's two days if you invite them from the campsite, but usually only one if you invite them from someone else's town.

@OP: Like others have said, you can't lose villagers from plot resetting! So don't worry about that next time. Hope you can find a way to work around her house placement, she's a cutie and it'd be a shame to have to let her go due to this.

when i first started my game, i had some dreamies in generally good spots, but puck ( who i really like and wanted to keep) was directly in front of the town hall and it made me really sad that i had to have him move out and it also sucks that I'm too lazy to cycle out 16 villagers to get him back haha!

Oh, that's useful to know..
Yea I got him from someone else's town so that makes sense. Thanks for telling me~

I would try to make it work! Look for trees, bushes etc. to make it look a bit more separated, even use some paths if you haven't been using them yet!

I have the worst luck with villagers, they all seem to move exactly one space foward that's in the way! But yet if they moved exactly one space back their house would fit perfectly >.<

I guess I don't understand what the big deal it is with where someone moves in. I mean I suppose if I made an orchard I might be a little annoyed if someone plopped down in the middle of it... but just get some fruits and expand out a little bit. What exactly are people trying to accomplish that having a house somewhere new is breaking? If you want perfect rows and streets, go play sim city :)
