Flowers dying quicker on the beach

So today I was working hard on organizing all my flowers on my beach and watering them all and when I finally was going back up to my town to see if any random flowers have showed up I accidentally ran over 3 of my roses, funny thing was I wasn't holding or even touching either shoulder button to run, so I was wondering, do you walk faster on the beaches or are they just ultra sensitive when on the beach? I also have at least a few wilted flowers each day when I water every day, I don't remember if that is normal because I am so used to never having wilted flowers.. I thought they only wilted when you don't water them a day!

Were they near the ramp? I'm pretty sure the ramp makes you walk faster when you go down the slope.

That's funny, I was just noticing the other that the flowers on my beach don't seem to wilt, ever. I don't have a beautiful town ordinance in my second town and I'm always missing flowers and having them wilt on me. At some point I put some on my far beach and forgotten about them. I went down probably around a week later and they were there, just fine.

Did you come down off the pier or ramp? I've killed flowers that way before, I think your character 'runs' even if you don't hold down the buttons to make it run because the land is downhill. Otherwise walking on flat land should be exactly the same as on the grass.

Walking down the ramp will cause any flowers at the bottom to react like they got ran over, same goes for if you press 'A' with a net over the cliff and theres a flower below.~

Nope, it was actually all the way on one end of my beach away from the ramp, that is why I was confused, I intentionally leave a buffer between my flowers and the ramp for that reason. =/

Maybe you pressed the B button? (Maybe not because you would notice it when your character is running.) That causes you to run too if i remember correctly.

Strangely enough I didn't have my hand on the keypad at all, but thankfully I had a few random roses pop up in my town to fill in the gaps hopefully it doesn't happen more, but I went ahead and put on the beautiful town ordinance, I don't need the bell boom that much anyways.

Ahh okay, by the way you are like the only person i have seen who still has egg currency xD (Just noticed that AppleBitterCrumble also has 1 egg currency lol)

Wanna know what i did? I just checked every sticky and i got eggsactly 6 eggs! I bought a Waluigi egg from them and sold it later because someone really wanted it xD Kind of regret it now lol
