Hiya, so I?ve been doing lots of planting recently in Yardley. I love hybrids and mixing different colours of species together to get some pretty cool patterns and designs. Each area of Yardley is going to have a different pattern and colour of flowers. For example, boarding the paths near the forest and campsite are red carnations and black roses. Boarding the town hall are orange pansies and purple tulips.

But I?m slightly stuck now for different colour / species combinations to try. Any ideas?

i can tell you the flower combos i have to see if it gives you any ideas!
  • near the police station: pink and white lilies (checker pattern)
  • near vladimir's house + the peach orchard: purple pansies and violets (stripe pattern)
  • near the park: blue pansies, tulips and roses (stripe pattern)
  • apple orchard: pink and yellow tulips (checker pattern)
  • near cafe: yellow pansies, violets and tulips (stripe pattern)

there are also very small patches of flowers around town, like a patch of randomly assorted red flowers, and pink carnations lining the path near the apple orchard.

Oh wow, orange and purple is very fun. Reminds me of fall :)

I'm the kind of person who likes flowers that all blatantly match each other in a way so this is fun to think about...

Some ideas
- some black flower (maybe cosmos?) + red-orange pansies
- gold roses + black lilies
(oops that's a lot of yellow/black)
- white + yellow flowers (maybe white pansies + yellow cosmos? but that's not hybrid...)
- pink + red (pink tulips + red... something. you already have carnations;)
- white carnations + blue pansies or blue roses
- pink tulips + yellow something

idk, just throwing all that out there haha. good luck! you sound really great at unique ideas/combos for flowers, would be great to see in action someday

I have 4 types of pattern:
purple,red, orange and white flowers
daisy's,red pansies and violets
orange tulips, yellow violets, red pansies
red pansies and white violets

I'm a sucker for the red pansies

I only use pink lilies, orange lilies, pink roses, orange roses, black roses, purple pansies, black cosmos, pink cosmos, orange cosmos, and blue violets.

I have a few white roses around the fountain, and some blue roses around a PWP.

I use pink, purple, orange and black tulips at the sides of villager houses.

I don't use red or yellow, and I'd never use a carnation.

They are poorly made, one dimensional rubbish, IMO.
NL graphics look like they had experts working on them, then took a break and let a bunch of pre-school kids have a go at it. O_o

Lol expecting way better with Switch graphics?

Anywho, how about a pink and orange combination?

LOL

Yes, better on the Switch. ^_^

Pink and orange go surprisingly well together!
Especially lilies and roses.

Pink roses, orange lilies.
Orange roses, pink lilies.

Both look great!
