Floral wreaths?

I'm guessing they're from a DIY recipe but how do we get it?
Is it one we just come across or does we learn it by picking the flowers or something.
I need a floral crown on my head.

I got a recipe from Nook for my native flower.

He gives you the recipe, along with a bunch of others, when he asks you to plot the first three villager houses. You have to create items for inside and outside the houses for the new villagers. I'm not sure if others come from bottles, but I know that gets you one.

Those are for the door and not for your head, right? I think the flower 'crowns' are just random DIY recipes you'll get from villagers/balloons/message in a bottle

Yes, the one I got is for the door. The crowns are something else, I think. I haven't tried to wear a flower I picked yet, so you might try that from your pockets.

Oh, that's a shame, I really wish it didn't require online :/ Have you used the free 1 week trial?

Best of luck finding a recipe! I really hope that there are more ways to get them as we progress because there's so many recipes and no solid ways to get many!
If it helps, I find more Nook Miles islands tend to have a recipe in a bottle!
