Fishing or Bug catching

Video games taught me that if I was rich, I would add fishing and golf to my hobbies. I never tried any of those in real life, but I've spent countless hours fishing and playing golf in video games.

Bug catching became more relaxing to me than fishing, and i blame the "catch 100 fish in row" achievement. I am still nervous to let a fish get away to this day lol.

I prefer fishing! Once you get used to the shadows you have a good idea of what you're going to catch and you can pretty much avoid sea bass totally.

But in summer once those sweet sweet coconut tree beetles start appearing, I'll be switching to bug catching.

Same! I love catching fish in video games and I have multiple fishing games on my phone

I like them both, but I think I prefer fishing just a bit more. Plus, with fish bait it makes it a little easier and I don't have to just keep catching stinkbugs! I do like catching butterflies though!

I prefer catching bugs - you can see what you'll catch ahead of time, and there's more variety in how you find and catch the different kinds

Yeah, but the sea bass is now worth a whopping 400 bells which is more than most butterflies and stinkbugs are worth.

Fishing more after they ruined the bug rates and besides fishing gives you more bells than bugs at the moment.

i prefer fishing a lot more than bug catching. i think it's far more relaxing and the idea of not knowing what i'm catching is a lot more exciting tbh.

i seriously can't believe fishing is winning as i write this post. has anyone tried to fish in a 3x3 pond? it's impossible!! the little fish will go in every which way LOL. i don't have the patience for fishing, and it drives me crazy to wait for the bobber to sink. i'd much rather chase after butterflies.
