Which of these activities do you prefer? Fishing or bug catching?
As far as I'm concerned, I've always like fishing a lot in in AC. It's one of my favorite things to do and it's the most relaxing to me.I remember when I played WW with my friends and brother, I would do all their fishing on their characters to complete their museums lol.
And they would do help me with bug catching as I tend to hate it and find it frustrating. I hate how you have to move really slow for some bugs and even slower for those rarer bugs.
Prefer bug catching because it's easier for the bug amount total. I do love summer and catching as many tarantulas and scorpions as I can. Love trying to out run them and wished I had a video. One player ran the wrong way and got to the cliff. No wetsuit so she ran up and got inside city hall. As the door closed the scorpion sat in front of the door.
Fishing takes along time to get the gold amount total caught. Finishing a collection is very easy once you have one golden fishing rod and a spare town that can change seasons.
I prefer fishing since it's peaceful and generally less stressful than bug catching. I love how the game focuses on the water sound when you're fishing or close by. It's a shame there's more valuable bugs than fish tbh.
But if I needed to raise up bells, I'd rather go bug catching at the island. The sharks rarely show up for me. It takes forever to catch a bunch of sharks in comparison. ;^;
I enjoy them both equally; fishing is sometimes more relaxing then bug catching, since it's sometimes a pain to catch certain rare bugs. But, my favorite way of earning Bells is catching those rare beetles off of palm trees on the island, so it's a toss-up.
I find bug catching to be easier and more efficient. At the island I can get a lot more cash from catching beetles than from catching fish and in less time.
Bug catching. Bugs are caught in different ways which make them more interesting. They are also better for making bells because you can see what you are trying to catch. For fishing, you do the same thing for every fish. Trying to catch rare fish is like trying to catch a Pokemon with a 5% appearance rate, eventually you just want to take a hammer to your 3DS after finding enough black bass and carp when you're looking for a koi.

I prefer catching bugs than catching fishes. I kinda suck at fishing especially when it comes to the super rare fishes as i kinda have a slow reaction. When i hear the 'plop' sound and try to reel the fish in, its always too late ugh. Kinda stressing tbh. For bugs, i always have a sire chance of getting them if i walk slowly.
I prefer bug catching, not being able to tell what kind of fish is in the water until after you catch it is a pain since it means wasting a lot of time catching common fish multiple times
