First 3 Plots Question!

Hello everyone! I had a question about the first 3 plots and adopting villagers:

As far as I know, those first 3 are personality locked, so can you not invite villagers from other people’s towns to fill those plots when they’re empty?

If that’s true then when is the earliest someone can adopt a villager? Is the next plot you can set up fair game for adopted villagers?

IIRC, the first three plots get sold right away to the islanders you invited, and any remaining ones go to random move-ins, so you aren't able to invite villagers from other sources for those.

The next villager after those is the first campsite villager, who is also personality-locked and HAS to be invited, then after that you can place plots and invite villagers normally, including from other towns. Basically, the 7th villager total is the first you can invite from other towns.

I would suggest just inviting villagers you don't hate or letting the random move ins take the first 3 plots. The first 5 villagers will never have their house interior upgraded and having them move in is essential for game progression.
