Okay so i thought about getting it but ti said it will be my default browser, would that mean replaceing IE?

It wont copy over IE if that is what you are worried about. You will still be able to open IE. What will happen is everytime you needed to open an internet browser, Firefox would open. In your start menu, under internet on the top, will say Firefox rather than IE. But you will still be able to open IE through your programs menu in the start menu

Firefox doesnt make a computer slow. That is officially the stupidest thing I've heard all day. Firefox wouldnt make your computer slow. The other stuff on your computer, eating your computer's memory is what made it slow. For example, Norton is a biggie. Or any other lame virus scanner. The amount of memory those use are insane, and very unnecessary. Spyware, Adware, Malware and the like will also cause your computer to be slow (Which hide in your history, and temporary internet files).

I went to college for Computer Programming, you have nothing to worry about downloading Firefox fleep.

Anyway, default browser means that wen you open a web page that is stored on your computer firefox opens.

The next time you open IE it will ask you the same thing.

Firefox is MUCH faster than IE.

If you look it up, Firefox uses less resources and memory than IE. It is only slower if you have too many things running on your CPU causing it to run slower.
