Too bad Club Ninty isn't around anymore. I'd love to cop posters of both Bayonetta and Cloud.

Kind of disapponted. I mean I'm okay with another fire emblem character but man ANOTHER ONE? A little annoying in my opinion. Also I don't want to sound like a kid but they sure have a lot of human characters now. It is a Nintendo game after all so I was hoping for at least one cartoonish character.

At least Cloud is pretty cool though.

I know that feel. The Club closed before Robin's art even became a poster, and all of these new ones would have made excellent additions. I stand by Bayonetta's being my favorite. That detail and composition. Damn.

I'm surprised by the amount of people that say they don't know who Bayonetta is. I know her game is a rare rated M game, but Bayonetta 2 was very well-received critically, and made a lot of people's top games list. The only reason people thought she was impossible was that M rating, but they clearly found a way to work around it.

Nintendo didn't mention what the number 1 vote in Japan was, so it may have been along the lines of Corrin. I believe Fire Emblem is less "niche" than it is over here, closer to the top of their lists. Mario characters still outnumber Fire Emblem Characters, and Fire Emblem characters just barely outnumber Legend of Zelda and Pokemon. Yeah, there's a lot of reps, but if people stop to think about it, it's not actually too many compared to a few other top franchises. It's also important to keep in mind that after Awakening, that franchise is sort of going through a resurgence.

Nintendo's keeping the worldwide market in mind too, I'm sure, but they are still based in Japan, and that's going to influence their decisions, at least a bit. If Corrin had been another clone, I'd be salty then, but it's clear that effort went into this character, and despite the fact that Corrin carries a sword, they seem more unique.

It's just a bit sad to see a character disregarded because of the franchise they came from, when they seem to have such a fun, unique playstyle. and while they're not a cartoon character, some of those limbs can get pretty out there when they transform. It's pretty fun to watch, I think.
