sure i need more orange trees mine are cherries but they wont grow perfect in your town / vise versa cuz to get a perfect fruit it has to be the native fruit

Ya, kinda figured, but they're always good to have around for when a villager asks for a certain fruit, I think if it's perfect it can help up the villagers friendship a bit faster compared to the normal fruit
