features you wished ACNH had ?

aside from the obvious bulk buying and bulk crafting, i really wish we could have a little interior design minigame with our villagers! it could be a request once your friendship with them is high enough, like “hey, (player name)! recently i’ve gotten bored of the same old furniture; could you help me redecorate?” and you could have the option to accept or decline. maybe you could place things from your catalog, and in the end you can pay for the items yourself? then the villager would have that interior from the next day forward.

i dunno, i’m just kind of upset over how some bland some of the villager interiors are (like mira’s!) ;w; this would solve the dilemma of outdated interiors if new furniture sets were introduced as well~

- I wish Isabelle would announce which NPC(s) are visiting for the day rather than finding them around town.
- Bring back the furniture from ACNL--we need more variety.
- Move windows and customize them.
- Closets that actually open up your storage not just a your wardrobe...
- Bring back the locker function!

-Sanrio furniture and villagers
-Balloons and bubble wands
-The ability to interact with furniture more both me and my villagers (pools and teacup rides, anyone?)
-The rose arch
-Unbreakable tools
-The ability to terraform river entrances
-cooking
-please let me hug my villagers. I love them so much

I WANNA BE ABLE TO KICK THE FOOTBALL AROUND. Enough said.

I wanna see Villagers do more like actually ride on the teacup ride etc.

Flea market needs to return.

Villagers being invited over your house or you being invited over to theirs like in Wild World.

More events which last all day.

Swimming and seeing Villagers swim in the ocean /river too.

These are ideas on the top of my head right now but there are many more

This kind of seems like a Nintendo thing, because I watched one of AVGN's videos where he reviewed Earthbound. He really liked it, but his biggest gripe was how you couldn't buy stuff in bulk. It was all busy work. You want 10 herbs? You got to go through the shopkeep's dialogue 10 times. You're at the hospital and have to revive all your allies? You got to do that 3 times, but that only brings them back to life so now you need to go to a hotel to get HP max and then find something else to max PP (magic points)

Like why couldn't they just implement a counter for buying or have the hospital do all three things?

Which is what New Horizon does. You want to buy a lot of clothes? Well too bad you got to go through the process of going in the dressing room, change into what you want, buy it, exit, listen to Mable, go back into the dressing room, and do it all over again.

Want to craft 50 bait? Let's ruin your sanity.

And like why can't you dip into your resources in your house if you're crafting in your house? Why do we have to pull all the resources we need out into our pockets? I often have to go back and double-check what exactly I need on the DIY menu and then mess up and have to go pull the right materials out until I get it right.

It's so archaic and even during Earthbounds time AVGN was showing examples of games during that time that had more user friendly systems for buying as much as you want at once and so forth. This stuff is slight torture.

this is sooo relatable. seems that animal crossing is supposed to be a slow paced game where everything has a step process, but it gets super inconvenient sometimes and a lot of time is wasted on such basic details that are actually not so out of reach by the game makers.

When they launched NH, i feel like they intended a gameplay where "anything is possible", yes a lot of new features are added but a lot of them are halfway programmed. they added terraforming, yet its limited to not being able to edit Everything. Not every building could be reallocated. especially ACNL features like tortimer, cafe, dream suite and diving i seriously don't understand why all these are removed T^T

Right? I never played CF, but I heard they had something like a credit card that you could use to take funds from your bank when shopping. That would be so convenient when shopping just about anywhere. Especially with some of the Nookling's bell sink furniture on the far right.

I would love that, it would make things much easier! I do hope they actually look through peoples feedback for the game and implement some of the ideas. I especially hope they are planning to add old NPCs in and old mechanics such as diving etc, I mean we’re on an island and they didn’t let us dive!

Honestly i disagree with all of these other than 5 and 6. I have no clue how they'd implement rock terraforming, i think having the RS set is good for creativity and i personally would hate everyones island to be like an exact copy, Im also not really sure how they'd implement terraforming sand as the water's edge is a lot smoother than the ground and I like how some NPCs wander! It makes sure i check around my island every day instead of just logging on for a minute and leaving.
Obviously you're allowed to disagree, i just thought id share what i think

when I get dodo codes one after another, i panic and get anxious--so i wish when leaving one island, we have the option to fly to another without having to go through all that tedious dialogue again

It's not worth making a petition over any of these things. Nintendo has always done what they want to do. It'd be nice if they did some of these things though.

I Wish you can Have shop stay open more into the night if your not a early bird.

I wish you could place items on the plaza, although I get you cant since theres the NPCs that show up and the occasional bbq or bench that appears there, also moving letters are something I really miss

I Wish Tommy and timmy Tell you at you had this item allready or not when you shopping.

1. With all the terraforming options we have, I actually wish they added an aspect that Happy Home Designer had to it and enable us to build and create actual buildings like restaurants, schools, hotels, etc.
I've been tempted to create an alt character to experiment with different interior designs but the fact that the villagers never get to interact with anything that's placed indoors kind of defeats the purpose to me.

2. I want more amenities a la Pocket Camp that the villagers could also interact with in fun ways (tents they can sit in, gazebos they can chill under). PC has got such amazing furniture items so NH horizons is really limited in this manner. The most that villagers will do is sit or lie down on something or sing next to a radio/play an instrument.

3. I noticed that the villagers mostly distribute around the plaza and don't wander much else. I made a whole diner set up that's located up the hill and I'm yet to see any villagers go up there and actually interact with anything.

4. Bring back the old NPC's - Shampoodle to give us a wider variety of styles and colors (maybe highlights, rainbow hair, etc), The Dream Suite, Katrina, Brewster and his coffee shop, have another NPC such as Phylis take over the night announcement, etc.

5. Increase the villager cap or make it optional. I have no use for 8 extra players as I play by myself. Give us an option of trading the player slots for villager housing.

I know that we will be getting updates regularly but these are some of my top 5, I guess.

Let us craft in multiples you cowards.

Also more interactivity with furniture than just turn on/off and sitting. Let us play on the playground gym, ride the teacups, swim in the pool/outdoor bath in a swimming suit, look through the telescope, so many things would make outdoor and indoor decorating much more lively.

EDIT: corrected a word, my brain thinks faster than my hands

  1. Relocating the Town Hall Plaza or whatever it's called.
  2. Castle, Mansion, Modern, Zen architectures. Maybe add a Fairy and Cottage architectures.
    • With that, being able to choose roof, door, and pavement styles. I know you can change the mailbox.
I can't think of anything else that hasn't already been mentioned.

1) That we can pull from our storage when we are crafting in our home
2)The ability to customize the plaza. I would love for it to be a darker color to match my island.
3) I want to be able to sit next to my villagers when they sit!
4) The villagers gradually updating their interior to it's normal set. They could even ask you for help getting furniture they need. I love Reneigh, but I got her first and she still has her wood interior. I'm tempted to move her out and back in again.
