Features you hope DONT return.

So we've all discussed what we'd like to see in City Folk, what do you NOT want to see again, that was in past AC games?


Personally, I dont want to see Wendell handing out patterns again, with online and sites that have amazing pattern uploaded to them, and programs like AnicroDesapro (sp?), having Wendell hand out patterns is just a waste of a visitor to me.

But in all seriousness, I could do without Wendell's functionality in WW as well. I liked how Sahara gave out one and Wendell gave out the other in the original.

I disliked Wendell. He can be in the game, but serve a different purpose. Like give out rare furniture if you get him a certain kinda of fish.

And I liked WW's music.

WW Theme > GCN Theme

WW's music wasnt bad, but GCN's was amazing, I at least would like to see SOME change if they do port over Wild Worlds music.

I mean, I like the theme for the Original Super Mario Bros, but you have to admit, it just wouldn't do well for Nintendo to reuse it in every Mario game for the rest of forever

Well, the theme song isn't the guilty party in this situation in my opinion, but the hourly music is what I really hope they change. I don't care if it's worse than WW's, it's just not right to use the same music.

I don't mean to step on anyone's toes, not so say WW's hourly music is HORRIBLE. It's just not something I'd want to return when we're seeing a brand new game here. (the theme song being an exception to that. They can bring that back all they'd like just for continuuity's sake. ((although it's my personal opinion that the GCN theme is LEAPS better than the WW theme ;B))).

Agreed 100%. I hope they bring back SOME of the GCN music. Like the meow song *Can't remember what time it played at* The meow song was my favorite song in AC GCN.

Well, to me it goes both ways. While I think the GCN music was better than WW's, them reusing the GCN music would be just as dumb. There's no excuse for them to not whip up a new soundtrack for a game that's been in production this long.

Also, that's 1 PM's music.

Another thing I hope doesn't reoccur is coffee being pointless, I'd like SOME reward for getting coffee every day (Brewster's picture, maybe?)

Its a neat feature, that seemed pretty pointless in Wild World, maybe they can soup it up some for City Folk.

Yes, WW music wasn't AS good as the original... But its not as bad as you are all complaining about... There was new music added in WW...as they have add some new music in AC...which I am hoping there is still even newer music besides just in the city...
