I don't know, i always watch horrors but I don't have a favorite. I like psychological horrors much more than gore-y films/slashers, I need to find some good horror movies that are actually scary
Have you seen misery? It's a great psychological horror.

EXCELLENT taste, I love how you classified Mullholland Drive as a horror flick - it's one of my favorite movies
Agreed, I really love the entire diner scene. the atmosphere of dread lynch was able to create is amazingI don't know if I consider Mulholland Dr. a horror movie but the man behind Winkie's gave me the most visceral reaction ever. My whole body tensed up and I thought I was screaming but I didn't make any noise. I'm not kidding when I say I didn't sleep for days. Aw man, I love that movie so much.
A lot of people say that the distorted face at the end of Inland Empire is more traumatic but it didn't really phase me. But, man. That guy behind Winkie's...
Other than Muholland Drive I would have to go with Rosemary's Baby.
