Smash Bros Favourite Character?

So what's everyone's favourite character/characters?
Why do you like them/ main them? I'm curious about what people think about the characters in the game and why they are fond of them.

Back when I was able to play it (until an update came and there wasn't enough space on my Wii U for it), I mained Sheik and Dark Pit. Idk why, I just felt more comfortable using those two. Which is weird because 1. I never mained them before Smash for Wii U (well, I couldn't really, but still), and 2. if my win percentage in For Glory is anything to go by, then I'm not very good at it.

If you delete, the last update's data, would it free up some blocks for you to update the new version of smash? Or have you tried that?

Villager was the first character I played with the minute the demo came out, since I love Animal Crossing. He's great because he has two recoveries. I remember him being one of my favorites. Another one is Sheik, since I love the Zelda series and her quickness and mobility.

My favorite characters are Pit, Ike, Lucas, and Peach. I've used Peach since I first played Super Smash Bros Melee. I just really like using her in the game. I like Lucas because he's pretty easy for me to use, even though I haven't quite perfected his recovery. I used to like using Little Mac but after a while I just couldn't use him as easily as I had in the beginning. I really like using Pit because of his performance in the air. I think it's pretty good. As for Ike, well, he's the one "bulky" character I like using.

Each update basically adds to the last update, so even if you deleted the old update, the new update would just reinstall all the old updates plus the new one. It's also why it takes so long to load up now compared to when it first came out, it has to go through all of the updates to load the newest one. (If that makes sense? I can't explain it very well...)

My favorite character is Ike, no contest. I'm a big fan of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, and he is the main character of the former and one of the main characters of the latter. That aside, I just find his playstyle interesting, challenging, and rewarding. He's overall a very fun character to play, and despite periodically playing as all of the characters from time to time, he's simply the most comfortable.

Behind him, I'm probably best with Samus.

Honorable Mentions: Marth, Peach, Lucas, Ness. I like a few others, but it's all down hill from here if I'm actually playing against other people. Even these four don't fare that well against actual humans compared to Ike and Samus.

Kirby!

I've mained him in Smash since the N64. I think it was a mixture of me liking him before Smash anyway and all my friends using all the characters other than Kirby, so he felt more like 'my guy' since nobody else used him. I got good with him, used him constantly and became the destroyer of hope among friends. Hes such a bae <3
I also got into Nintendo Official Magazine for the highest score at something in Smash Melee using Kirby. I can't remember what the score was for and I've lost/mum threw out the magazines with it in, I just know it was significantly higher than 2nd place and it was never beaten (in that magazine at least). It made me love him that bit more.



Also, Lucina.

I only really started using her to annoy a friend who mains Marth, playing against him whilst constantly saying stuff like "why are you using a Lucina clone? Just use Lucina".
I got half decent with her though and have been using her about as much as Kirby since.

Rosalina, Palutena, Peach, Jiggly, Villager, Robin, Lucina are the ones I usually use, solely because I like them as a character or I like their play style.

Yes, I've used and mained Ness since Smash 64, Otherwise I favor Lucas, Cloud, Pit/Dark Pit and Link.

Rosalina has been (one of coughtoadcough) my favourite character for a while now. Smash for wii u was my first smash game, but she was the first person I played. I just decided to keep playing her lol.

Marth is my favorite character. He's light, agile, and strong. He's got a sexy Japanese voice and looks cool (especially with the black color). If you know how to hit with tipper damage and time your counters correctly, he can be a fearsome foe.
