Favorite villager species?

I would do a poll but there are like 16 diff types so i didn't wanna lol
Mine is definitely Sheep, in NH, that is. I love their new design and how they can actually wear clothes (even tho it's usually stretched into infinity oop) They're fat and cute and their designs are so unique and adorbs <3 plus... c l o w n s h e e p

I actually like most of the species. If I had to choose top 5 it'd probably be cats, deer, sheep, squirrels, and rabbits. As to why, I don't know. I just think they're neat

My favorite is cats, of course. After that, I like a lot of the rabbits, squirrels, cubs. I’m pretty sure I listed a few other species in another thread like this, but can’t remember off the top of my head. I’ll post again if I think of other favorite species.

I really like the bunnies and the sheep. The rinos are really growing on me too mostly because of Renée, but also because I really enjoy drawing them for some reason.

my absolute favourites are the deers and wolves; deers are my favourite animal irl and so it makes sense that they’re also my favourite in ac. i also love the wolves! i don’t know what it is about them but they just make my heart so full whenever i see them

Anywhooo my favorite would have to be... hmm i'm stuck between bears and lions. they are large and seem huggable

Monkeys get honorable mention because their history wrt being wild world "special" villagers was interesting to learn about

I am very partial to the hamsters, frogs, and sheep.

- I’ve had 6/9 hamsters over the course of New Leaf and New Horizons and loved them all. The only one I don’t care for is Apple.

- I pine after any and all frogs, though my favorites are Drift and Lily (the latter of which I have in New Leaf). The frogs are just too good — the only one I don’t like is Ribbot, and it’s only because he’s a robot!

- Like a user said above me, Cashmere is the only truly reprehensible sheep. All the others are so fluffy and good. Dom is the best sheep and possibly the cutest design in the game — there, I said it!

My favorite is probably the hamsters. I pretty much like every single one of them. And even my least favorite (hamlet) isn’t bad looking, just a bit bland, imo. I will likely eventually have at least three hamsters on my island (at least for a bit). they are so tiny, round, and adorable!

I think the overall the sheep design is also really great, though I don’t currently have one on my island. I had vesta early on, but for some reason she didn’t click for me.

I love the frogs. They're so small and even when they're ugly, they're cute. My favorite are the jock frogs, because they talk about lifting super heavy boulders and I'm like "lmao you're a teeny frog plz don't hurt yourself" - I'm looking at you, Drift. Ribbot is a robot so he could totally lift anything.
