Favorite villager hobby?

I picked playing, nature and music. I really love when most of my villagers sing, though I’m tired of Roscoe singing lol. I love it when my non-music hobby villagers sing like Punchy, Rudy, Raymond, Sherb 
. I still enjoy the treasure hunts and love watching my villagers running around. I actually like it when my villagers water my plants even if it’s one I don’t care about.

I really don't care much for villagers in this game unfortunately because they absolutely ruined them in my eyes, but whenever a villager starts singing the music I put up I always have to stop what I'm doing and just listen for a minute. I even put up a music area with a bunch of instruments and speakers in front of my RS to get them to do it as much as possible LOL
That being said... what does the "Fashion"-hobby ACTUALLY entail? Like what do they do? It has a staggering zero votes so I can't imagine they're doing a lot lmao

They like to walk around wearing glasses, carry purses, and some of them will wear a little pink bow too. It’s not one of the flashier hobbies, but I’m surprised literally no one voted for it lol.
That's strange, because I did visit the link in the OP to find out more about the hobby, and it said that it's exclusive to villagers with "female"-coded personalities, that they tend to visit Able's a lot and comment about what the player character is wearing... yet I couldve sworn I've had crankies frequenting my Able's, had them talk about my outfit, and I see other villagers with the weird little purses running around my island constantly regardless of personality. But I guess the bows and glasses I've only seen on a normal and a snooty so far, so that article might've gotten confused as to what acitivities are hobby-specific and which aren't.
Regardless, I think it's still pretty cute and infinitely more bearable than Naruto running up and down my island or sitting right in front of my river to fish or read a book when I'm trying to terraform the damn thing

I’m not saying that article is wrong; I’m just speaking from my experience. I’ve had both Opal and Penelope who have the fashion hobby in my town for significant amounts of time. Opal used to visit the Able Sisters often, but I’ve definitely seen all of my villagers in there, too. Penelope would just wear her little bow and carry a purse most of the time, but I barely saw her clothes shopping (if ever). All of my villagers comment about what I’m wearing all the time, regardless of hobby/personality too so idk. But yes, the fashion hobby is exclusive to female villagers for whatever reason (men can’t be interested in fashion obviously *eyeroll*).
The glasses I’ve seen villagers with the fashion hobby wear are round tortoiseshell specs, which are different than the ones that villagers with the education hobby like to wear. I agree that it’s a cute hobby, though. There are quite a few villagers I like that happen to have it.

I never get bored of seeing my islanders read, or play and sing at the plaza. I always stop and take too many screenshots. 
Wolfgang is my voracious reader. He's been all over my island reading. On the beach, in the swing, on a log stool, below a tree, on a park bench, at a picnic on a cushion. Everywhere. Watching my islanders play is great. Mostly it's the youngsters, like Zucker and Claude. And Dom, who runs more than he walks. But occasionally I see the older residents like Rolf and Wolfgang zoom around at the plaza and I break out the camera with a big grin on my face. Singing rarely happens on a group scale though. It's usually an individual singing, like Tangy or Fuchsia. (They don't sing together!) They tend to sing everywhere, but get easily distracted by a flower or a butterfly.

these 4 hobbies have the cutest villager activities. then again, after typing this out. i've realized it's literally anything except them weight lifting all over the island. lol

i think they're all cute but my #1 favorite is music, i like listening to my villagers sing.

Almost everything the villagers do as ‘hobby behavior’ can be/ is done by all the villagers. The ones with the hobby just do it more often. Each hobby has 1-2 minor behaviors that are only done by villagers with that hobby. For example the jocks wear sporty shades while they work out. For the education hobby I have heard (on a different thread on here) that they are the only villagers who sit down outside and read.
The villagers with the hobby are also more likely to do behaviors solo, so like fuchsia or Shari or kabuki (all have the music hobby) sing pretty much all over, all the time, usually by themselves. But graham and flurry and bangle might all sometimes sing, but less often and usually (but not always) is as a part of a group.
I love the hobbies so much (I love the villagers, so not surprising). I don’t have any villagers with the play hobby and it is such a shame, because it’s a very fun one. And when I was trying to grow more blue windflowers I used to plant them at flurry’s house because she would water them all for me everyday. And of course hearing them sing is always so fun, I love their little voices and the way they sometimes pause when you come up, then start again.
But yes, it is dumb that only female villagers have the fashion hobby.

wait WHAT is the fashion hobby???????? edit: so i just looked it up. i see some of my villager shop/hold a shopping bag from time to time. i know just because they have a main hobby doesn't mean they won't do other activities. but i find that studying is the rarest for other villagers to do

music is super cute of course, but i gotta say i'm a sucker for the nature hobby. watching beau water his neighbours flowers absolutely melts my heart!! but fang with the education hobby is also adorable, he tends to just sit under trees and read or just study everything in his garden with a magnifying glass. can you tell i'm a fan of the introduction of hobbys?
all of them are adorable in their own way but i think nature and education are my favourites - i love whenever one of my villagers whips out a magnifying glass or a book and starts to inspect a random object or a plant; i think it’s adorable
