They didn't create the series, Nintendo did. They just developed them. They're 2nd party developers to Nintendo.

I know, but those games wouldn't be half as great without IS.

Nintendo, most notably the 2nd party deve+loper, the pokemon company or game freak. I love mario and the legend of zelda. I also lik metroid and kirby. But the thing I love most, pokemon. I'v been a fan since i was 3! I know some may think it's childish but pokemon has touched my heart and mixed three of my favorite things, cool looking creatures, rpg, and video games. No matter how old I am, I always will love pokemon.
