Favorite starter fruit?

peaches and apples! i really like how they both look in new horizons + peaches are one of my favourite fruits irl. though, while their normal variants are still lovely, i’m definitely hoping for the perfect fruit to make a comeback; perfect peaches were just *chef’s kiss*.

Apples are definitely my favorite! When I started playing ACNH, I was going to reset if I didn't get either apples, peaches, or pears. I ended up getting Peaches as my starting fruit (...and then kind of turned a lot of my island into apple/pear isle).

My favourite starter fruit is peaches I have cherry's though as my native fruit and I love the vibrant red on the trees

it used to always be apples in NL because they had the nicest perfect fruit imo, but now I'd say probably peaches or cherries? although my native is oranges, it's not a huge deal to me now

Peaches and cherries, peaches are so cute and I always seem to end up with them as my fruit for some reason..

In the older games I always had cherries but they ruined them in New Horizons IMO

apples I love them IRL and they fit the aesthetic of my island the most

cherries My favourite fruit IRL. I had them in the older games but in New Horizons they look plastic. Still better than the others though.

oranges I like them IRL but in my head my island is located in the very north of Scotland. Oranges fit better in a Mediterranean or tropical setting

peaches I just don't like how they look in Animal Crossing

pears I dislike them IRL so I don't want to look at them in Animal Crossing

for the older games switch cherries to first and apples to second

Pears have always been my favourite. They just look so good on the trees.

apples, i think they look the nicest overall. has a nice small village vibe to it. i also don't mind cherries and oranges.

Oranges and Cherries in New Horizons because of the drinks the villagers carry around. Oranges get a glass with an orange slice and cherries get a pink drink.

Pears look the best, in my opinion, so I'd say those are my favorite, but its between those and cherries. Just because it seems that cherries are harder to come by as a starter fruit. There should be a poll in the OP!

Anything other than pears, which was my starter fruit. Favorite would be peaches, apples, or oranges. They just look better because they contrast with the green of the trees

I always loved my native cherries on NL because they're my favourite fruit irl, but I was pleased to get apples this time around. They feel the most realistic to me, as out of all of them that's the fruit that grows most naturally in my part of the world. They add to the cosy forest vibe, imo!

They all look good in the game., but I have to say that the Apples and Pears look the best. My island started off with Peaches so I just got tired of looking at them. Just wish there were more options. Maybe throw a Lemon Tree into the next update LOL

Oranges and apples look the most pleasant. Pears are my least favorite. Well, maybe cherries actually, because we already got apples for red coloring and the cherries aren't as good for it.

Also please give me bananas and lemons back.

I love all of them because they’re absolutely gorgeous in HD, but my favorites would have to be the pears! They’re so pretty & they have a unique color (versus the other fruits which all have red/orange/pink coloring). I love how they look on a royal castlecore island as well as the cottagecore islands.
