Favorite Species in New Horizons?

I'm super biased, but I LOVE the goats. Sherb is so freaking adorable and I loved the goats before his introduction, but he really completes my little herd. Bunnies are a close second for me though! Also a little biased there though because I have the cutest bunny irl. I also really love the deer!

Squirrels for me! Mint has been my favorite villager ever since I was like 4 years old playing the GameCube version and I always wanted her back in my town in all the later games, New Leaf was the first time I had my own copy of the game and didn't have to share it with my brothers and I was destined to find her...had Marshal and Ricky as my neighbors and BFFs! But never had luck finding Mint right now I have Nibbles, Filbert (he is such a cutie I am obsessed with him!!) and Mint!! Found Mint on an island tour and was prepared to island hop for hours but she was on the first island I went to :') so happy to be reunited I just love how tiny they are and their big tails and they're just so adorable <3 I plan on keeping Mint and Filbert permanently and will let Nibbles leave when she asks, hopefully I can get Peanut lol

congrats on getting mint!!! ive never had a squirrel but i do think theyre so cute! i have sylvana's amiibo card and she'll probably move into my island someday <3

I think all the eagles have pretty good designs and I like most of the ostriches too.

I love the wolves! For me, I don't think there is one poorly designed/"ugly" wolf

In past games it was always the sheep because of their fluffy round wool but well, they don’t really have that anymore in the same way that made them my faves—so in NH they’ve been overtaken by my other favorite species, squirrels and rabbits! And then deer, cats, and wolves come close behind them. Penguins and ostriches are also soooo cute and easily make it into my top 10 species. This is actually a pretty hard question lol but anyway, I voted for squirrels on the poll because I just love their tiny little ears and big swirly tails and there are almost none of them that I don’t think are adorable. <3

I had to vote other for ducks. They are really cute. Even ones like Derwin are cute in a dweeby kinda way and the worst one is kinda cute in her own kids bop lovin way.

i think there's nothing at all wrong with liking something that's "common" to like in animal crossing. after all, the game is supposed to make people happy, so i think it's normal and perfectly ok when something that makes you happy makes a lot of people happy as well :^) <3

[Saga]

It used to be cats, but recently I realized I like even more of the ostrich villagers than I do the cats. Right now I have three ostriches (Flora, Blanche, Cranston), but there are svereal more that I really like but don't have space for like Phoebe, Julia, and Gladys. Plus, their tails are SO CUTE when they fit on chairs facing away from the camera (such as to watch K.K. Slider perform). They're shaded really beautifully and look super fluffy!
