Favorite Species in New Horizons?

I know polls like this have been posted like, a hundred thousand times, but I'm just curious:

What's your favorite species in this game, why?
Who's your favorite villager of the species, why?
Did your favorite species change from what it was in New Leaf?


For me, in new leaf i LOVED the bears. like I even considered having an island full of just bears and cubs. but in this game, i find myself loving the bunnies by far the most! coco is my top favorite villager of all time, and i swear i fall in love with her more in every game. and i really love how the bunnies ears flop a little bit when they walk in New Horizons it's sooo precious

Rabbits, their model is really good.
Ruby, she have always been my #1 favorite of all villagers, she's adorable, and her theme is amazing.

I don't think there's one eagle villager I dislike... I can't believe they aren't more popular! All of them are cute and designed well.

I also like the wolves although Lobo is sorta "meh" for me. In New Leaf, I accidentally ended up with around 6 wolves because I just never told them to leave and they accumulated over time!

yessss rabbit love! i love ruby as well, i had her in new leaf and i miss her a lot. i'm sure she'll make it back to my island someday, tbh. and i agree, the rabbit model is so well done in new horizons

I don't think there's one eagle villager I dislike... I can't believe they aren't more popular! All of them are cute and designed well.

ahhhh i feel that i love the smaller model species its so adorable! i had apple on my island from the very beginning up until yesterday and it melted my heart how tiny and round she was

Since my first game, WW, it's always been the cats that have my heart. My top 2 villagers of all-time are Tangy and Bob. I also love Mitzi but don't have her. I got Rudy for the first time in this game and love him. He's so cute when he gets mad, his little red nose glows!

Cats and squirrels! This applies to IRL too! I'm a huge sucker for squirrels and dormice and I love cats too (more than dogs!)

I adore the sheep. They're just so cute and floofy. I was going to take Stella when she moved from my boyfriend's island, but I already had ten villagers, so I couldn't. =( And I really, really want Muffy on my island.

For me it's still the cats, but there are a lot of rabbits I am starting to really enjoy. There isn't a single wolf I dislike, either, but I'm also a little tired of seeing all of them.

Cats have the most nostalgia for me, since Bob, Rosie, Punchy and Tabby all go way back to ACGC days and my first town.

It's a mix since my favorite villagers are different species, although I guess it's cats. Punchy, Rudy, Bob, Elvis, Tybalt, Leonardo and Rolf are all feline.
