Favorite smug villager?

Design wise, I like Kidd the most, I think. I also like Marshal and Chadder.
I haven't really had the chance to interact with smugs. The one I had in campsite was Hippeux and I absolutely couldn't stand him

Colton...he's my first and only smug villager on my island. Looking at the smug character list I think I will like Marshal Chedder and Shep maybe Raymond too!

My favorite is Julian! Such a fabulous unicorn! Others I like include Hans, Kyle, Ken, and Lucha.

Ngl... right now, having only had Lionel in NH, it's Rodney. Rodney was my smug in NL and he was super chill, maybe a little weird at times but still a reasonable guy I thought. Now I want him again because I think a goofy looking little hamster talking about focus grouping and refreshing his brand and classy dancing would be a lot more fun than the tryhard I'm dealing with now. Since I don't really like NH smug dialogue as a whole, I'd prefer a villager who makes it ironic and funny.

Right now (on NH), I've really taken to Eugene! I only knew a little bit about him through Pocket Camp (the only other AC game I've played prior to NH). Though, it's a funny story: He was my first campsite villager, and I didn't even want him. I thought he would eventually leave if I just ignored him. ...Until I found out you have to invite your first campsite villager in order to progress in the game. After he moved onto my island, he slowly began to grow on me... Now I love him and don't want him to leave for a while!
