Heaven Knows by Rise Against, off their second album, Revolutions per Minute.

In the video, it seems as if Tim (the lead singer) killed the fellow in the bathroom. However, in real life, Tim wrote this song about his friend who commited suicide. The song is set up in a kind of "conversation", probably between Tim and his friend.

First verse/Chorus: (The friend who committed suicide, telling "Tim" in the hypothetical conversation)

They day I learn to fly, I'm never coming down.
On perfect wings I'll fly, through the lays of the clouds.

And from there, I'll see the neon grids of cities.
And six million, people who keep their fires burning.

And I threw a party in my name,
And the hours dragged by and no-one came.
So I bowed my head and I prayed for wings
To take me from this place
From you.

Second verse seems to be "Tim's" reaction to his friend revealing this:

I've seen myself inside you, you dream the dreams that I do.
And you're still searching for these answers,
They're not inside your wrists!

Outro is "Tim's" reaction after his friend actually kills himself:

And I close my eyes as the curtains draw
I thought I heard your voice, but I through wrong.
