I really like Toy Day mainly because I really like winter in AC games and the music is fun, and I love having all the lights on the trees and having fun with all the villagers. It's just such a fun time during the game, it makes me happy
I love Halloween the most out of all of them. It really killed me inside when Nintendo took this event out of Wild World. Glad they put it back in the recent installments.
I love the Harvest Festival. The furniture isn't that great, but mushrooms and cooking make it pretty fun. I definitely make sure to prep in advance so I have loads of extra fish and stuff. My museum storage spaces end up kinda looking like the aquarium.
I really wish we had a chance to experience the other region-specific holidays, though.
So hard to choose just one! I think Toy Day is my favorite because you're spending the whole month finding out what everyone wants and the music & snow is so pretty. It's fun running around pretending to be Santa. Although, Halloween was my first animal crossing holiday and I love that one too. Halloween does have waaaaaay better prizes, but still Toy Day is just too sweet to pass up.
I have only experienced a few holidays in the short time I've been playing this and the only one that I thought was pretty fun was April's fools day; now, I'm trying to replace the pictures that I was given on that day because it just doesn't feel the same -- being handed a picture on that day than earning their friendship the long and hard way.
Harvest Festival sounds fun, but it really disappointed me when I found out that we don't make the dishes (and can't keep them to decorate our houses with food), but Franklin does. And yeah, the furniture is really ugly in my opinion (not the ugliest set, but not a set I like either).
I actually really love April Fool's Day! I just find it really fun to learn more about your villagers~ (plus you can get everyone's pic immediately huhuhuhu)
My favorite time is the Fireworks in August. I remember my first year watching the villager have fun.
Also like to see how many NPC and villager will dance during the show.
