At some point I tried to go really large and all-out with my paths. I thought it'd be fun to completely transform my town with tons of intricate patterns but NOPE, it wasn't fun at all. It'd almost never come out looking right, and it'd stress me out 90% of the time. It was just too exhausting for me. I give major props to those people that have really decked out towns with every single space covered in patterns like how tf do you guys have the patience and stamina for that??
Anyway, game wasn't fun for me when I tried to go for that look. It completely killed my motivation to play. Now I'd like to play by the saying "Less is more." Minimal paths, and I'd like to focus more on landscaping, making a nice town with more natural resources instead.
I'm concerned that I'll end up making it look too bland though, so It'd help me out a lot if I had a visual reference for inspiration. If you guys know of any dream towns I could visit, that'd be nice
Or if you have any advice on landscaping, I'd greatly appreciate that as well <3. I never actually got into that other than planting a fruit tree and some flowers outside of each villager's house.
Thanks, y'all.
