Favorite Bands Breaking Up

So today one of my favorite bands, Death Grips (that dude that's always in my sig), broke up. :'l

have any of your favorite bands every parted ways?

I liked HeyHiHello's music, but by the time I found out about them, they were already broken up.

i was pretty sad when p!atd split but apart from that none of my favourite bands have broken up in my lifetime

Fall Out Boy I guess? Well, they just went on a long hiatus and then they got back together so woohoo! I used to be a big fan of them when I was younger, and whilst I do love their new music and stuff because it's a lot more updated and modern-sounding... I just don't feel the same way when I listen to it ^^ Like there's no real nostalgic feelings attached to it. Oh well, I'm just glad they're back and making new music and now my friends like them too.

Busted. I was so annoyed when they broke up. It mainly happened because one of the members wanted to form a new band with his friends but they didn't even last long anyway.

Nirvana (well sort of broken up, lead singer commited suicide).
Acda & De Munnik (Dutch duo, breaking up next year).

Sybreed, really sucks that they broke up.

Not quite the same but I was also really sad when Roy Khan left Kamelot, he's my favourite vocalist of all time.

Metro Station. I loved them so much, but then they broke up after like their first album. I think the lead singer wanted to pursue a solo career, and another one just wasn't "committed" enough. I had not got too terribly attached to them, but sometimes I wonder what they could have done if they had stayed together.

I guess I'll be pretty sad if I Fight Dragons breaks up. I know their female singer was kicked out for some reason. :I IDK, I've never been attached to a band, I just care about the music.
