Biased towards Wild World since that was my first Animal Crossing game but if not that then New Leaf ^^

While I started with the GC version, I think NL improved a lot. It could be better, but I think it's the best yet.

New Leaf. As much as I love the series, and will totally buy AC if it's on the NX, the game being hand held is much easier for short breaks or long extended plays than a home console.
