Fave Fish?

I know this is a weird question but for some reason my fave fish to find out I caught is the Red Snapper. Don’t ask me why but I just like it so much??? I am aware that it doesn’t sell for the most bells either but I guess it is because I really like red as a color, maybe.
So yeah I want to know if any of you have a special kind of fish (fresh or sea water). The sea bass has a very strong competition but try not to go for that obvious choice!!1!

Ohhh okok. Thanks for clarifying tho! I’ll try my best to catch it. Maybe it depends on the time of year because I’m in the Southern Hemisphere but honestly idk hshshsh.

I love the whale shark because it's one of my favorite fish in real life, too. Sharks are my favorite animals of all time, so anytime I get a chance to see any of them in game, it makes me happy. It doesn't hurt that they sell for a lot either, but that's not my primary motivation.

I also love the sea butterfly and the football fish. The sea butterfly is so pretty and the football fish is based on the angler fish, which I also love in real life. Both of them emit beautiful light if you set them up in your house.

My all-time fav is probably the neon tetra.



I love how it is so tiny when you catch it and always reminded me about the first time I visited a fish pet shop and was amazed by the colours on this particular species of fish. In a brightly lit aquarium and pitch black room, from afar it would look like neon lights in a box!

I like a lot of fish, but my favorite is probably the surgeonfish. It has really beautiful colors, so I like having one in my house. Its tank also doesn't take up much space.

I really like the blue marlin! For how long the tank is (2x1) I feel like it shows off so much of the fish and its majestic and colorful side. And I love seeing it in the museum zooming past all the other fish haha! Runner ups though are the red snapper and giant trevally!
