Fastest way to get weeds?

I want to come to my alternative town to get the weeding badges. If I TT a year in advance, would that work? What would be the easiest way to get a lot of weeds. Thanks!

That should work as long as you dont have the Beautiful Ordinance in place

I've actually found it works better to TT a lot in smaller bursts. I usually TT a month at a time twelve times, and then I have a gajillion weeds.

Yep! I tt'ed a month without the beautiful ordinance in effect and weeds were everywhere! Although if you wanna keep a villager, I suggest tting in small doses and try to make sure they stay rather than doing one big jump because you might lose your loved bby

I time travel day by day and get some. Idk how to get a lot. Maybe travel a year?

If anything don't get Beautiful Ordinance because that makes weeds produce a lot less and then just TT forward a year and then TT back a year and your town should be full of weeds c:

If you still need the out of town furniture wait till Leif is outside. Leif should be by your house.
Once Leif is outside send your other towns player in to pick all the weeds. One out of town and one in town prize for pulling up the weeds. The host does nothing and still gets a prize.

To get a lot of weeds I TT a week or a month ahead. Ask Leif the amount and said no. Just keep TT to almost a year and than I TT back to the time it was on. Player from my other town comes in and pulls up weeds.

Each time I TT forward I dig up all the gyroids, break the rock and pull up any clovers. More space for weeds to show up and I usually find some 4 leaf clovers. Before I do the TTing I bury the pitfall and fossils on the beach. More space for weeds to show up.

Like someone else said, as long as you don't have the beautiful town ordinance in effect, time traveling a year ahead should work.
I did it once, without knowing that the weeds would be unbearable, and my town was completely filled with weeds.
It took me forever to get rid of them.

It would totally work indeed! You only have to make sure that you do not have the Beautiful town ordinance on. That ordinance greatly decreases the amount of weeds growing. If you do not have the ordinance working then you should be good to go!
