Hello! Currently, I'm trying to get Frita the Uchi Sheep out of my village so I can make way for Poppy the Normal Squirrel. Most villagers that moved out of Sleep took quite a while to move, but I'm looking for the fastest way to move an animal out without time trial (I have quite a few upper tiers in my town, and I don't want them to leave). Any suggestions?

Thanks in Advance. -Jonathan

Time travel can be used without risking beloved villagers. Going day by day, which is the recommended method for TTing anyway, is literally the same as not time travelling at all aside from no longer matching the real-life date. Just a note, since I see that misconception around a lot--time travelling in that way is never, ever going to produce a surprise move-out unless you've been slacking off with checking in on villagers.

But villagers tend to move out more if you have higher friendship with them. Other than that, and making sure you're in an exiting phase, (10 or 9 villagers present) move-out requests are fairly random. A villager can even request to move out twice in a row! They can't really be forced, so all you can do is keep playing on and crossing your fingers. Just make sure you're talking to at least 2 or 3 animals exhaustively each day to get all the rumours just in case someone isn't pinging.

The only thing TTing actually contributes is speeding up the process of getting to each request. It's not necessary if you don't want to do it.
