Any advice or sure ways to get villagers to move?

Hello everyone! I'm starting to get my layout down pretty well, but as a move houses I'm just wondering what's the best way to get someone to move so I can get some of my dreamies to move in.

Omg, thank you so much. I kept adding plots of land not even thinking about which villagers I actually wanted and right now I have a full town and only two of them are dreamies lol. Thanks again <3

the guide *which is awesome so thanks for posting that Suguri!* doesnt mention that you can lower your friendship level with a villager by 1: ignoring them completely 2: hitting them on the head *i use the butterfly net* repeatedly until it makes them angry and keep hitting them whenever you see them. it takes awhile but it does work eventually.

I want to add that you can lower the points, but not the level. (more info and stuff is here) Thanks for sharing this, though. :]

I think you ignore them for a while, and eventually they say they’re thinking about leaving. Then you pick the response that encourages them to leave.
