Fashion or function?

Sounds like most people are of a similar mind that furniture should be accessible.

I do have wall items that aren't easily reached - candles or iron wall lamps, mostly, but those are always on, so I'm not too concerned with them. But I have to be able to get to chairs/sofas/beds, music players, and interactive items in the kitchen. Thankfully, most of the chairs I have can be slid into from the side, but I'd go nuts if I couldn't sit on a sofa or armchair.

I have a mix inside my house. It's not like there is really anything to /do/ in the houses so I don't mind having some of it be unusable. Outside I keep things a bit more focused on function but even then a few things looked best in unusable places.

I want all my rooms to be easy to walk through and all my furniture to look accessible. The fact that it's not because some items are 2x2 when they should be one tile or the fact that we can't go between half spaces like in the HHD doesn't bother me. A living room looks more snug with half a space between the table and the sofa. As long as most things are accessible and it just *looks* natural and functional I'm happy.

I decorate my house for the looks since I don't really use it much anyway, other than storage and changing clothes.
