I don't get a spending limit for christmas. I just tell my parents the thing I want most and they usually can get it for me because I know not to ask for ridiculously expensive things ;-)

but usually my big present is around $200 .. some years less others a little more. and then I get other smaller presents such as clothes and stuff.

I don't usually have spending limits, especially when mum hasn't brought anything for my birthday/christmas etc.

Other than that, there's a girl in my class whose parents are quite welathy and she always complains every single day about her mum not getting her the newest iPhone and DS and so on and so foruth.

I just hate that.
