If they were to add more food choices, to me, it would imply that we have to feed our characters and villagers everyday, but the good thing about AC is, in my opinion, that you don't have to feed a character, make them go to the bathroom, etc. do the same daily routine as IRL. But why not, sushis would be cool and I thought it was fun to work in the caf?, so why not in a restaurant!
But but but. It would have to be pre-packaged food. Sometimes during conversations with a snooty in the Roost, they'll mention how they'd love some breakfast or lunch with their coffee and Brewster will comment, saying he only knows how to make coffee. Poor guy...

haha i'd feed a chicken to a chicken, or burger to a cow if they had that. as for the branded dlc, japan and only japan had 7-11...it is stupidly expensive now too.
in the us on 12/31 they have sparkling cider

Well, since Brewster only knows how to make coffee, maybe an additional room to the Roost would be made as a separate PWP that you would get for serving, say, 1,000 people while working. It could sell things like lemonade, tea, and punch. A shop up on Main Street that sells baked goods that you could gift to villagers, such as cakes and the fortune cookies, would be nice, too. Maybe it could be the second floor of the Roost!

Oh god no. I'd have to make weird decisions. Can they at least be veggie burgers or tofu or something? I'm not feeding Ken any chicken wings, tyvm. Unless I can kill and eat HIM, then we're talking. Ruling my town with an iron fork, here.

It'd be cool to have a little shop on Main Street that has different sections for sweets, drinks, snacks, etc. Your villagers could prefer certain types and would send you gifts or trade food when you gave them something they liked. ouo

FOOD. I have all the food and kitchen related items because I find them to be so cute. It's an obsession but what can I say? I like food!
Foods that I would like to see in the next game would include different beverages like: soda, juice, smoothies, milkshakes, etc. I would also like to see more dessert options. For example, doughnuts would be delicious and cute. Ice cream that can be actually displayed in the house (not the streetpass version). I'd also like to see more cake options and cupcakes are a must! If there was an ice cream/gelato display option similar to the salad bar in ACNL or even being able to customize the menu for the dessert display that would be adorable.

That would go against the collective sensibilities of whom "Animal Crossing" creators are trying to continue to appeal. And, besides, you don't want "Animal Crossing" to become a sort of "Game of Thrones"—or, if you do, it's not "Animal Crossing" that you're actually wanting to play.

I personally wouldn't mind seeing some sort of cooking or gardening implemented. No we don't need to make it a Sims or Harvest Moon copy but I am ALL for more things to do in town. If you could plant veggies plants and grapes/berries that would be cool. I personally love cooking aspects or shops as an idea as well. Its not like anything in animal crossing is really mandatory so if you don't like to cook you wouldnt have to. But I can understand people feeling that its "not animal crossing" and I know its risky but if done right it could be cool! I would totally love cooking stuff for my favorite animals lol.

This is my thought on this exactly. I understand adding more fruits or even vegetables to harvest and sell - the grapevine idea was pretty cool. But yeah, I'd feel like I'd be playing a totally different game if they implemented cooking or having a hunger/feeding thing.
