Everyone has such beautiful towns...

It's comforting to know I'm not the only one with such a situation, I'm sure eventually our towns will be something we can be proud of! So I wish you all luck and happy beautifying!

If anyone is interested, I could compose a guide on how I made my town, how I landscaped everything, and how I filled most of the space in my town along with any other tips I have. Let me know ^.^ And feel free to check out my dream address if you want to see my town.

Ooo! A guide & tips would be amazing! I'd definitely be interested in that!

I'm very interested on a guide like that! I feel like I'll struggle landscaping due to my awkward layout, so any help is appreciated :)

Great! ^.^ I'm working on it now. It'll be all text when I first post it, then I'll go back and add pictures! Should be ready sometime today or tomorrow!

I've never plot reset in my town (which is almost finished, landscaping wise); I just let my villagers move wherever they wanted to. Plot resetting is definitely not necessary for a great looking town (not that mine is perfect or anything xD).

If I can give just a bit of advice to everyone struggling with their town: start by building all the pwps you want and moving all your dreamies in before you start landscaping everything, that way you don't have to worry about new move-ins appearing and killing your flowers, trees, shrubs and bamboo. If you know you want certain pwps in certain spots, build those before you move your dreamies in, then (whether you choose to plot reset or not) move them in and start landscaping around their houses and pwps.

I would enjoy reading that

Yes please! Having seen photos of your awesome paths I'm now looking to start that kind of landscaping for the very first time, as I mentioned in your qr thread (which I suggest you link to unless you put the path qr codes in the guide itself, just a thought). As I'm starting this so late in the game so to speak, I'd love any and all info, tips, progress photos etc. Suddenly deciding to landscape 3 years later is a bit daunting!

If you ever need help, I'll gladly.
I have plenty of flowers and landscaping is a piece of cake for me.
I also don't mind pathing. I'll kindly help with that, too.
Either way, good luck!

Exploring your town right now...digging it so far!

Inspiring for sure... Giving me some ideas.

Haha don't worry! You'll get there eventually if you keep trying! It took me two or three months (even with TT) to actually get my town together. Not even done decorating an entire house yet because I keep changing the rooms.

Piece of advice: Use PWPs to make other PWPs stand out!

Definitely feeling this, I can't be bothered trying to unlock the sewing machine and drawing your own pathways is so hard. I have no idea how people can get such perfectly layed out towns. I'm sure yours looks great!

The sewing machine is easy though! Just speak to Sable on 10 days and you'll get it, it's not that bad!

Woah, I completely forgot about this thread, haha!
Thanks for everyone's input though! ;u; I appreciate the awesome advice!

It takes soooo much time a dedication to make a pretty, organized, clean, themed etc...town. Especially if you don't TT (honestly, props to you people. I do not have the patience for that) I'm 5 months into my second town (I reset) and i'm nowhere close.

Also may I suggest you get all your dreamies first? I am currently doing that, yes my town does look really organized but before I put any PWP's down on my bottom half im trying to get all dreamies down there. So far I have 2 left! But I need to get a uchi to suggest me the certain PWPs

The question I always have is how do people manage between pwps and trees/flowers. For me, I am happy with how my town looks with trees/flowers/plants. However, I have no idea how to incorporate pwps into my town.
I feel like the perfect town needs to have the balance.
Anybody have tips?

I've just let my town do whatever so don't feel that yours is the only one that's a bit of a mess. Heck, I've not played for a while so it's probably worse.

I know how you feel, i wish my town looked so beautiful and organized! But looking at them makes me want to work harder. I just want to get my 10 dreamies and unlock all the pwps that I want in order to start making my town look nice. I just wish one more villager would move out as well as I need my villagers to request them! I can't wait to finally feel proud enough to show my dream address so others can enjoy! c:

Mine looks pretty ugly, but I haven't tried. I mainly just got the majority of my dreamies, (I have 8 now), and then I'll make do. It won't be the best, I don't spend hours plot resetting for villagers to be in certain places, but I think I might pull a dercent looking town together eventually.

I struggled to get my town organized for nearly a year. Then I saw some well organized and really pretty towns, so I started working on my town a lot more. I didn't realise how useful it was to unlock the sewing machine, grow hybrids, buy the trees/bushes early on to make landscaping much easier. I tried to get villagers to suggest one pwp a day so I had more to choose from. The uchi pwps were the ones I wanted the most, so I had to move some uchi villagers in to get them to suggest them. I started by organizing small areas of town and eventually it would complete itself a little at a time.
